The eCOG1 family is targeted at TCP/IP network, RTOS and other communication system. 16-bit RISC Harvard architecture and the flexible multiplexed clocking architecture make it very low power consumption and practical for battery-powered instruments and devices. Many advanced features are included such as DMA, host and memory interfaces and modular system interfaces and multiple UARTs (up to 4 UARTs).
